Matthew Langley studied at Virginia Commonwealth University and received a BFA from The Corcoran School of Art. His work has been exhibited internationally and is included in major collections in the US such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Ernst and Young, Capital One, MacAndrews & Forbes, Montefiore Hospital, The Cafritz Foundation, NYU Langone, and University of Maryland. Recent exhibitions include; Colors For A Large Wall at Page Bond Gallery (Richmond, VA), Informal Relations at The Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art. Mr. Langley’s artwork has been covered in publications such as Art in America, New York Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, The Washington Post, The Washington Citypaper and news sources such as National Public Radio. Recently he has become part of the US State Departments Art In Embassies Program.
Matthew is represented by galleries nationwide including Susan Calloway Fine Arts in Washington DC, Blank Space in New York City, Page Bond Gallery in Richmond VA, and Axom Gallery in Rochester, NY.
He lives and works in New York City.
